UPDATE 3/16/18: Noggins gets her 3rd chemo treatment this week. She is still doing well, moving around well & has the appetite of a champion. She is a bit more tired it seems, so we are monitoring that, but as of now enjoying life in her foster home.

UPDATE: Noggins had her leg amputated just after the first of the year. The leg is removed to help keep dog's pain down that have osteosarcoma (Bone cancer). This however will not cure her of cancer as the cancer will have always spread at least at microscopic levels. We hope to give Noggins a happy life in FEBR with her forever fosters for the time she has left. Typically this is 6 months to 1 1/2 years.

Noggins was a Christmas Eve shelter pull due to severe medical issues. Noggins is unable to bear weight on her right front leg. Xrays were done and it appears that Noggins may have bone cancer. We have sent biopsies out and are waiting for results to come back. If she does indeed have cancer we will be seeing an oncologist to learn our options.

Besides, her limp Noggins is in fairly good health. She has a UTI we are treating. She is incredibly sweet and still feeling well, eating and drinking well too.
