UPDATE 3/10: Luna’s surgery went well and she has healed up nicely and is medically ready to find her forever home! Her only medical needs is someone that will pay close attention to her tail pocket, she needs it carefully monitored to keep clean, sometimes with medicated sprays/wipes. Luna is good for her baths, ear cleaning and face wipes, but is not a fan of having her feet messed with. She is fully house trained and also crate trained. She loves attention, toys and car rides! She does ok with her foster brother, but can get jealous over attention and also toys. Her foster parents have done great with her and she’s already down to 50 pounds!
Meet Miss Luna! She comes to us after her owner decided he did not have the time to care for her any longer. She is overweight for her small frame weighing in at 55 pounds. She is getting more exercise going on regular walks now and also eating a diet food. Luna does fine socially and when on a leash with other dogs, however in her foster home she does get quite jealous of her foster brother.
She would do best with older kids. Luna is already crate trained and house trained. Luna is good for her baths and getting her ears cleaned, however she is still getting used to having her tail pocket cleaned and is not a fan of people messing with her feet.
