Meet Sassenach (Sasse for short) which is Gaelic for ‘English outsider’, which I found to be appropriate since she is an English Bulldog found as an outside stray! Sasse had her first vet appointment she weighed in at 41.2 lbs. Her main issues are her ears and eyes. She has cloudy corneas and is getting meds to hopefully help alleviate the dryness and help her vision. She has a hematoma in her left ear which will be surgically fixed along with a couple of teeth extractions. Once healed she will be spayed. I will say, for a stray, her skin and coat look pretty good. So far she appears to be housebroken and crate trained, and leash broken but is very stubborn when she decides she doesn’t want to go any further! She will probably do good with other dogs.
