Meet our senior girl Bella. Bella ended up at a shelter after her owner passed away and the next of kin was not interested in keeping her. We hope to improve Bella’s spirits in her foster home with lots of love and care. Bella comes to us with some eye and skin issues, but nothing that we can’t fix! Bella will be looking for a home where she can live out her senior years in comfort.
Update 12/26: Bella is settling in nicely to her fosters home. She is not a fan of her medicated baths, but is slowly getting used to them. She just loved all of her secret santa presents too! Bella is great on a leash and enjoys her walks. She does not respond to other barking dogs. She is great with new people as well. She is on meds for her skin and we have removed any treats with grain in them.
3/10: Bella’s skin and paws are already looking so much better, after some issues earlier in the year. Bella is still looking for her final spot to call home for her golden years. Bella will not do good in a home with kids or cats, but seems not to mind other dogs. She loves treats and walks and to get attention in public. She can be a little ornery and grouchy with her medication routine, but is getting a little better.
