Maggie was surrendered to us because her owners could not keep up with the costs of vet care for Maggie. Maggie has a tail pocket that must be kept up with, so that it does not get infected. We were also told she’s had chronic ear infections. The first thing we noticed with her though is her back legs. Because of her issues with mobility she can not do stairs, even just 1 or 2 is very challenging for her. Maggie has lived with other dogs, cats & kids before and we are told and she seems to be very laid back and good with everyone. Maggie is house and crate trained.
UPDATE 10/12: Maggie is doing very well on Dasaquin, a joint supplement. Her mobility has improved some! She will continue to stay on joint supplements, eye drops & ear drops for life. She is going to be evaluated for an ear canal ablation soon.
