Maisy Grace was surrendered to us without much medical care in her past. She will need to be spayed and is quite overweight. Her ears were dirty, her eyes were gunky and she has a large growth in her mouth. Our vet will be closely examining her and determining a treatment plan. Despite a lack of medical care she is a very happy girl! She enjoyed her bath and seems to enjoy other dogs too. More to come!
UPDATE 8/6: Maisy is making big moves! She has already lost 6 pounds and looking leaner. She was spayed and also had the large growth in her mouth removed. The good news is that biopsy results found that it was just an ossified epulis (Basically benign tissue overgrowth). Maisy may need one more procedure for her mouth, but it shouldn’t be too much longer until she can find a forever spot! Maisy is a sweetheart and would do great in home with kids or other dogs. She does stress when traveling, so she needs to be with a family that does not plan to take her on many long car rides.

Here Are Maisy’s Before Photos! She was much heavier upon entering rescue and also had a large growth of tissue in her mouth.
