Ziggy Update 8/6: Ziggy has had palate surgery and been neutered. We are awaiting an apt. with an eye specialist to ensure Ziggy is on the right meds for Glaucoma. Ziggy is a sweet boy, but despite his palate surgery still does not have the best airway. Because of this we don’t recommend long car rides for Ziggy and he will only be adopted locally in the Tampa Bay area. Ziggy also will need a lot of help with house training due to the environment he came from.
UPDATE 9/20: Ziggy was diagnosed with glaucoma and had to have one of his eyes removed, it’s possible that he will need the other removed as well. Ziggy does well with other dogs and will likely do well with kids as well.
Update 10/12: Ziggy is doing very well in foster home and has recovered from his eye surgery. He does very well with the other dog in his new foster home and is a laid back sweetheart. Ziggy has made great strides with house training as well and is 90% there! We will know upon one more check up if we will just continue to treat ziggy’s eye for glaucoma or if it will have to be removed.
